Duration: 5 days / 4 nights
This is a route for gourmets who want to enjoy unique Georgian cuisine and arrange a celebration for their taste sensations, enjoying the velvety taste of wines. Wine tasting is provided at first-class local producers.
Day 1
• Tbilisi Arrival
• Meeting at the Airport with representatives of Phoenix Tours Georgia DMC
• Transfer
• Check-in hotel
• Tbilisi city tour with a tour of the main attractions of the city: Old Tbilisi, the maidan and sulfur baths, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Narikala fortress, Metekhi plateau, the Synagogue, the Mosque, the glass bridge of the world, the city fortress, Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square, Sharden pedestrian street, modern part of the city. (3.5 h)
• Night in Tbilisi
Day 2 Tbilisi - Sighnaghi – Telavi
• Transfer to the city of Sighnaghi
• City tour,
• Visit historical museum, where canvases by the famous Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani and jewelry found during excavations are exhibited.
• Visit to the Bodbe Monastery, where the tomb of St. Nino is located.
• Wine tasting in a home wine cellar in the city of Sighnaghi, you will be offered 4 varieties of wine, Georgian bread and cheese.
• Transfer to Telavi, Inspection of vineyards near the villages of Mukuzani, Saperavi, Tsinandali.
• Dinner. (total duration about 8/9 h)
• Night in Telavi
Day 3 Telavi
• Visit to the winery, where they will tell you about the traditional Georgian technology for preparing wine in a jug - “qvevri”. The technology of wine production in Georgia has not changed. The process of collecting and pressing grapes occurs exclusively by hand. The tools and technologies of the traditional wine culture will be presented.
• Wine tasting at the factory.
• Visiting Tsinandali and the museum of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. The house museum is surrounded by a magnificent park in which Alexander Chavchavadze laid the wine cellars in 1886, thereby deciding to put the traditional production of wine on an industrial basis. So the oldest winery in Georgia was founded. The plant still stands in the park. There is stored 16 thousand bottles of wine of the late XIX beginning of XX centuries.

• Overnight in Telavi
Day 4 Telavi- Tbilisi
• Visit Ikalto Academy, where in the 9th century one of the world's first educational Academies was established, along with such disciplines as philosophy, astronomy, mathematics, Greek and Latin, students studied winemaking as a separate subject. Visit to the Alaverdi Cathedral. (8 h)
• Transfer to Tbilisi via the Gombor Pass
• Dinner in a restaurant.
Day 5 Tbilisi
• Transfer to the airport
• End of service
